Kevin Ugwuoke, Executive Director / Chief Risk Officer, Fidelity Bank PLC Nigeria

Kevin Ugwuoke is an experienced banker who has served a number of managerial roles across major financial institutions such as United Bank for Africa, Access Bank and Citi Bank. He is currently the Executive Director, Risk Management / Chief Risk Officer at Fidelity Bank PLC where he is responsible for Credit Risk Management, Credit Strategy & Policy, Risk Measurement, IT Risk Management, Operational Risk Management, and Compliance.

Kelvin holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with first class honours from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Management from Edinburgh Business School of Heriot Watt University. He is a Senior Honorary Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria.


Femi Ademola, CFA, Group Executive Director, Cordros Capital Ltd.

Femi Ademola, CFA, is the Group Executive Director with Cordros Capital Limited, a Financial Services company based in Lagos, Nigeria. The company is involved in Asset Management, Investment Banking, Securities Trading.

Femi is responsible for origination and execution of advisory and capital raising deals such as debt and equity capital, merger and acquisitions, structured operation and financing etc. His responsibilities also include identifying, analysing and capturing opportunities for new business, and directing and consolidating staff for equity capital raising, corporate credit and leveraged financing, balance sheet and external restructuring and financial advisory for performance improvement and novel business initiatives. He is a finance and investment professional of over 20 years covering audit and financial advisory, investment banking, credit analysis and risk management, relationship management, investment management and research, economic and financial analysis.

Prior to joining Cordros Capital, Femi worked with the BGL Group, Wema Bank Plc and National Bank of Nigeria Limited.  He also had a stint at accounting practice with Baker Tilly & Co (Nigeria), formerly Oyelami Soetan Adeleke & Co (Chartered Accountants). Femi is a graduate of Accounting and Finance and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA). He has a MBA from the Lagos Business School, a Master’s Degree in Actuarial Science (University of Ibadan) and a MSc. Finance (Economic Policy) from the School of Oriental and African Studies (University of London).

Femi is a CFA®️ Charterholder and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (CIS).


Alexander Mbakogu, MBA, FCA, C&I Leasing Plc

Alexander Mbakogu, Chief Financial Officer of C&I Leasing Plc, Nigeria’s largest non-bank leasing company quoted on the floor of Nigeria Stock Exchange, that provides fleet managements, marine services and staff outsourced services to its numerous clientele. Alexander has held several other positions since joining C&I Leasing plc, including Management Accountant and Head Treasury; Manager, Finance, and accounts, and until recently, he was the Managing Director, Leasafric Ghana Limited, a Ghana subsidiary of C&I Leasing Plc. He is a fellow of the Institute of Credit and Risk Administration of Nigeria, and the Institute of Chartered Management Accountants of Nigeria.


Abiodun Ogunoiki, CFA, FRM, CIA, Deputy Chief Risk Officer at FSDH Merchant Bank Limited

Abiodun is an experienced Risk Professional and an investment advisor. He has extensive experience in financial risk management (including credit risk management, market risk management, operational risk management and capital modelling), due diligence, enterprise risk management, fraud risk management, forensic investigation, internal audit, internal control reviews, corporate governance and contract compliance reviews. He has assisted several Nigerian Banks in Basel 2/3 Services (gap analysis, impact assessment and full implementation) and IFRS 9 implementation. He is a trained Big 4 Consultant where he spent over a decade and a banking industry practitioner, where he managed risk in the Merchant bank and some of the bank’s subsidiaries. He is a Certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM, GARP), a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA, IIA), a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder and a Certified Fraud Risk Manager by The Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA), UK. He is the Vice Chair of the University Relations Committee of the CFA Society Nigeria.


Karl Sees, MD, CubeLogic

Karl is a leader in credit, counterparty and market risk management with over 25 years of practitioner experience in the finance and energy sectors. He has held Chief Risk Officer, Chief Credit Officer and Global Head of Counterparty Risk roles at major investment banks and brokerages. Karl is an MD at CubeLogic and member of the Executive team with responsibility for Financial Services clients and analytics solutions.
